Join DAD to welcome Jeff McKay, Chair of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, for a discussion of a broad range of topics of current County interest.
The Board of Supervisors establishes policy, makes appointments, approves budget measures, sets local tax rates and adopts land use plans for Fairfax County and, to the extent permitted under Virginia law, passes resolutions and ordinances governing local county government. Chair McKay will address issues ranging from County and School Budgets to affordable housing, casino proposals, updates to the 1990 Policy Plan, the SHAPE of future aging, and a possible future meals tax.
